Be WATER Wise!

The Kindergarten students have been busy learning about the importance of fish to our environment and consequently the importance of clean water to theirs. We hope you have noticed the beautiful Stream of Dreams fish display on the fence in front of the school as it serves as a reminder to all of us how fortunate we are to live along beautiful Fish Creek Park and how important it is for all of us to keep our fish habitats clean. On March 31st the Kindergarten students, teachers and parent volunteers treated DDS to a day of learning all about water. Our Walk For Water day event kicked off with an assembly where we watched the short video Water Changes Everything and then we moved outside to participate in a variety of stations set up to teach us all about water.
